The story behind "Fifth of May".

FIFTH OF MAY. The day I was given life. The day I was born.

Life is precious in so many ways. Yet, life is also fragile. Cherish those you love around you before it’s too late.

Cancer took away one of my aunts in 2020 and it left a scar. She always put others first and made such a positive impact on my life, plus have done so much for her community. She was taken away from us too suddenly and too soon. I know I’m not the only one that has been impacted by cancer, but it was my first experience – a devastating one. I truly wish I can make a positive impact to those that have been or are being affected by cancer.

To start, I will be donating a minimum of 10% of proceeds I earn from the handmade items sold to the BC Cancer Foundation. Later on, I plan on expanding my collections and perhaps be able to increase my ongoing donations!

And this is how and why FIFTH OF MAY was launched.
